However, this will be our first look at the Standard and Digital Editions of NBA 2K23, and it’s definitely well deserved. But, as this is a franchise that attracts millions of fans around the globe, there will be critics. For example, there’s a huge chunk of gamers that feel like this year’s MVP, Nikola Jokic, or the finalist, Joel Embiid, all deserved to have their first-ever box appearance. On top of appearing on the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition of NBA 2K23, the Phoenix Suns superstar shooting guard will also front a sixth edition of the sports sim later this year. 2K describes this special version as their way of recognizing “the cross-section of music and basketball culture.” The sixth NBA 2K23 edition will come out later this year. NBA 2K23 will hit store shelves on September 9. Take-Two Interactive has a massive slate of games scheduled to come out between now and 2025, which includes NBA 2K23. Unfortunately, while most expected Rockstar Games to have a couple of remasters there, this is not happening.
