If the recent rumors are to be believed, a Hogwarts Legacy trailer is going to arrive soon, perhaps just right before the year ends.
When are we going to see more of Hogwarts Legacy?
For most of the latter half of 2020 and early 2021, all everyone could talk about was Hogwarts Legacy - both good and bad. Earlier this year, we covered stuff on how Hogwarts Legacy can avoid repeating the mistakes of other similar AAA titles based on big movie franchises like Marvel’s Avengers. Right around the same time, one of the game’s lead developers resigned due to public backlash, with him explaining the reason behind it sometime later. Unfortunately, since then, all we’ve heard about Hogwarts Legacy are rumors, like this one a few weeks ago that claimed that a Hogwarts Legacy trailer is going to come soon. However, unlike Millie A, this new tipster was the one who spotted details about Star Wars Eclipse before its official announcement at The Game Awards 2021.
— AccNGT (@AccNgt) December 14, 2021 According to AccNGT, the trailer has already gone through the corporate approval process, and “things got moving”, suggesting that a new Hogwarts Legacy trailer is going to come “very soon.” If you dig further, you’ll find that AccNGT previously claimed that Hogwarts Legacy is going to release in the second half of 2022 (either in summer or holiday) with some form of multiplayer component and plans for post-launch content. The multiplayer part is especially surprising as the official reveal of Hogwarts Legacy makes no mention of it. Unfortunately, neither Mille A nor AccNGT is a legitimate source. This means that their word isn’t worth that much all things considered. But, if what they’re saying is true, then we won’t have to wait for too long to find out more about Hogwarts Legacy. In other Harry Potter news, Fantastic Beasts 3 just debuted a new trailer ahead of its premiere on April 15, 2022. Meanwhile, after the release of the initial announcement trailer, HBO Max just confirmed that the official trailer for the Harry Potter Reunion special is also coming soon.
