However, the timing of the cover photo update is curious. Remember, the Embracer Group acquisition was only a few months ago. Embracer Group might be looking to make the most out of its recent investment. Embracer Group is a larger and more diversified company compared to Square Enix. The new owners might want to make sure that such iconic franchises are not wasted. Thankfully, we don’t have to speculate for long. Crystal Dynamics will turn 30 tomorrow, July 8.
