What does the Festive Fervor event bring?
You can have Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Bundles for a discount throughout the holidays. Four festive Bundles will be up for grabs on the Store that players can use in both Warzone and Vanguard. Krampus is coming for those who don’t like to play the objective in Vanguard. Find the Elf Team Six members scattered all over Warzone and Vanguard to earn rewards. Purchasing Vanguard from now until December 31 will net you 10 Tier Skips and a 10% Seasonal XP Boost, among others. Those who already own Vanguard should have already gotten these freebies since December 16. You can get a Weapon Blueprint for completing all the Festive Fervor challenges in Warzone or Vanguard.
From Drop Zone to Armageddon Mode
Vanguard is also getting Armageddon mode for the duration of the event. The former Drop Zone will put a twist on the classic TDM gameplay. Instead of the standard TDM rules, Armageddon mode will put set control points across the maps where teams will fight over as Care Packages fall constantly. Once the teams have combined for a certain number of Killstreaks, the zone rotates to a different point, which makes for a very chaotic game mode.
