Last month saw The Last of Us Part II and Fallout 76 both make their way to the PlayStation Now library. This month’s offerings aren’t as “big”, per se, but they’re all still worth sinking dozens if not hundreds of hours into.
What are the PlayStation Now games for November 2021?
The four games that are headed to the PlayStation Now subscription service for November 2021 are as follows:
Celeste Final Fantasy IX Mafia: Definitive Edition Totally Reliable Delivery Service
The headliner, of course, is Final Fantasy 9. The classic JRPG was released for the original PlayStation in 2000. Many consider it the best Final Fantasy game of all time. Naturally, it’s since been ported over to other platforms over the years, including the PlayStation 4. The version of Final Fantasy IX that’s coming to the PS Now library has been enhanced with improved graphics and character models, anti-aliasing filtering, as well as high-definitive FMVs, among others. In addition to Final Fantasy 9, PS Now subscribers can also enjoy Mafia: Definitive Edition. The 2020 title is a remastered version of the 2002 game that plays very much like a more serious version of the chaotic GTA series. Other games include the award-winning 2D platformer, Celeste, as well as the weird but fun co-op title, Totally Reliable Delivery Service. Final Fantasy fans also have another reason to celebrate. Final Fantasy 9 isn’t the only Final Fantasy game coming to PlayStation Now. Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster is expected to come in December with Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age arriving in January 2022. Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition is also going to be part of the lineup in December 2021. Earlier this year, we justified the value of PS Now. Things have only improved since. Even if Microsoft continues to beef up the Xbox Game Pass, PS Now and PS Plus aren’t far behind anymore. It will be interesting to see what Sony does to make PS Now and PS Plus more valuable to its consumers.
