All That Glitters Trailer and Update Information
The trailer shows a cinematic presentation of the new locations, events, and enemies that will debut in Update 1.3. The cinematic opens with the Lantern Rite festival. This festival coincides with the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year. Some hints are dropped as to what the Lantern Rite festival will involve, including mini games in the Xiao Market and Theater Mechanicus. Every single wish, no matter how small, is worth seeing to fruition. We will finally reunite with those we long for on a dreamlike night. Of course, the highlight of the All That Glitters trailer is the introduction of a new character: Xiao, Vigilant Yaksha. In addition, it appears MiHoYo is giving away one of the existing 4 star characters. Furthermore, events such as Five Flushes and Leyline Overflow are given brief details.

Rumors and Other Details
Fans speculate that Genshin Impact’s Update 1.3 will include another playable character. This is due to the prior Dragonspine update 1.2 having Albedo and Ganyu released during the same patch. The character rumored to be coming is Hu Tao. However, no confirmation has been made, nor is there any news of the under development version for the Nintendo Switch. It is possible that MiHoYo is keeping the full details in reserve as a surprise for the update’s release date.
