This article will discuss the appropriate gifts for each bachelor or bachelorette so that you can increase your relationship with them. Each romanceable character has different tastes, and gifts are one of the ways you can increase your relationship with them quickly. You can also find a guide on how to marry and divorce your chosen bachelor or bachelorette. We also included their regular schedules, so you know where they are at certain times. Beware, there are some minor spoilers in this guide.
Dating Guide
In Stardew Valley, you have the option to befriend the villagers in Pelican town. Some characters in Pelican Town are romanceable characters, meaning you can date and marry them. Before you could marry your chosen character, you would need to raise your friendship level to eight. You can check your relationship level on the relationships tab. You can increase your friendship level by giving the NPC their favorite items. Once you increase your relationship to level eight, you can buy the bouquet in the General store to show your interest in them. If you have enough friendship level, the character will now be your boyfriend or girlfriend. If you want to break up, give them a Wilted Bouquet. Be careful, though. Your friendship level will drop down to five.
Bachelors
The following are the male romanceable characters you can marry and date in Stardew Valley. To raise your friendship level with them, gift them their favorite items. If you want to decrease your friendship level with them, gift them the items they hate. Each Bachelor’s regular schedule is indicated below as well.

Marriage Guide
Once you get your relationship level to level 10, you can propose to the bachelor or bachelorette of your choice. Mayor Lewis will send you a letter saying you need a Mermaid’s Pendant to propose. You can only buy the Mermaid’s Pendant from the Old Mariner. The Old Mariner can be found at the tidal pools on the beach during rainy days. You also need to upgrade your house at least once and repair the bridge east of Elliot’s Cabin. The Old Mariner will not appear if you have not fixed the bridge yet, and will not sell you the pendant if you have not upgraded your house at least once. After proposing, the marriage will happen three days letter, and your spouse will start to live with you.
Having Children
Aside from marrying your chosen partner, you can also have children with them. Your partner must be happy and satisfied, and they will ask you the question of having children. If you are an opposite-sex couple, your partner will ask if you want to have children and if you agree, you will have a child after 2 weeks. For same-sex couples, it is the same process, except you will adopt a child.
Divorce Guide
If you are not happy with your marriage anymore, you can divorce your spouse. Go to Mayor Lewis’s house and divorce your partner in exchange for 50,000 gold. You have until 10 pm to change your mind. However, if you did not cancel by 10 pm, you will be divorced the next day. Any children will be under your custody. Once you divorced your spouse, you cannot marry them again. However, if you use the Dark Shrine of Memory, you can erase your partner’s memories and marry them again.
Summary
There are six Bachelors and six Bachelorettes you can marry in Stardew Valley. To date, you must raise a romanceable character’s friendship level to level eight.
