How to unlock the Amenoma Kageuchi Sword

Before starting this quest, we recommend that you finish the “Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual” world quest first. There are areas in this questline that need to be unlocked by following the Sacred Sakura Ritual World Quest.  You can also follow the steps below to unlock the Amenoma Kageuchi Sword.

Opening the Cage on Jinren Island

Travel to Jinren Island and climb the hill. A dialogue will pop up and you will notice a man locked up in a cage by Nobushi enemies. Kill the enemies and you will find that a cage needs a key to open. You can find the key on top of the tree just south of the cage. Go back to the cage and save the unnamed man. He will tell you to go to a spot that is safer so he can properly talk to you. Go to the place and he will introduce himself as Saimon Jirou. He will tell you of a treasure that needs four slates to open. This part is where the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual collides with this questline. You need to talk to the Shrine Maiden near the Konda Village to start the “A Strange Story in Konda” quest. Continue the quest until you unlock the well and electro barrier.

Find the 1st Stone Slate

Use this walkthrough to solve the puzzle in the Abandoned well. Defeat Ochimusha and Kazari will show up. Do not leave the well just yet. You will find an electro barrier near the puzzle site. Summon the Electroganum to pass through the barrier. Open the door using the switch on the left side. You will find tables and wooden crates. Investigate the wooden crates to find the 1st stone slate.

Find the 2nd Stone Slate

The second stone slate can be found at the beach near the Kamisato Estate. Go to the end of the beach, near the Waverider waypoint. You will find a bonfire and an adventurer’s tent. Investigate the small tent to find the second stone slate.

Solving the Electro Cube Puzzle

Before you can get the 3rd and 4th Stone Slate, you need to complete the Sacrificial Offering and Cleansing Defilement quest. Go to the Araumi area, where you need to cleanse and break the barrier near the Sakura Tree. Unlock the mechanism near the tree to reveal three kitsune earth statues. Use your memento lens on each one of them to reveal three buttons. Press the buttons to reveal the Araumi barrier. After cleansing the Araumi barrier, go to the left side and you will find five Electro cubes. Attacking the cubes will make them change directions. Follow the sequence above to solve the puzzle and unlock a Precious Chest. Go to the back part, face the middle cube whose glowing side, and follow the steps below. You can log out to reset the position of the cubes if you mess up the sequence.

Find the 3rd Stone Slate

Go down the hole on the floor and you will notice that it is flooded with water. You can climb the ledges of the wall to regain your stamina. Swim all the way to the end of the hall and you will notice a metal gate. Near the gate is a mound of dirt. Investigate the dirt to find the 3rd Stone Slate. You will also notice another Electro cube puzzle. Simply hit the middle cube twice with the Electro element to solve the puzzle and unlock a Precious chest.

Find the 4th Stone Slate

Solving the Electro cube puzzle will make the water level go down. Open the gate and activate the mechanism at the bottom level. Follow this path and keep heading north until you reach the waypoint. Activate this waypoint and you will notice a shipwreck in the area. Investigate the broken urn near the ship to find the last stone slate needed for the quest.

Find the 5th Stone Slate

Report back to Saimon Jirou in Jinren Island and he will tell you that you need to find the fifth stone slate. Teleport to Araumi waypoint and investigate the area. After finding nothing, go back to Jirou in the Jinren Island only to find him gone. Look for him on the island and you will notice that he is locked up by Nobushi enemies again. Defeat the enemies and talk to Jirou. He will give you the Treasury Key.

Opening the Treasury

Use the “Treasury” key on the locked metal door on the floor. Place the four stone slates on the missing stone slabs near the door. After placing the four stone slabs, follow the sequence above to light up all the stones at once. Solving this puzzle will open the stone door. Open the chest in the middle of the room. Go back to the Konda Village and escort Jirou back to his father.

Complete the Quest

Talk to Saimon Katsumi and he will give you the Saimon Heirloom Blade Diagram, unlocking the Amenoma Kageuchi weapon in the Blacksmith. You will also receive 60 Primogems and a Northlander Sword Billet. Completing this quest will also give you the “Underground…overrated?” achievement.

Using an elemental burst will consume all succession seeds and you regenerate 6 energy for every succession seed used. Below are the materials needed for this sword:

1 Northlander Sword Billet 50 Amethyst Lump 50 White Iron Chunk 500 Mora

How to unlock Kitain Cross Spear Polearm

The Kitain Cross Spear Polearm can be unlocked by finishing another world quest called “Orobashi’s Legacy”. The quest has multiple parts and you can start the prologue of the quest by talking to Kaji. He will give you 20 Primogems and part I of Orobashi’s legacy will start. Go to the Narukami Pillar and interact with it. You will need to look for the missing parts to get the Ward repaired.

Orobashi’s Legacy Part I: Sphere Puzzle

Go to the area indicated on the map and you will notice multiple electro pillars whose orientation and elevation can be adjusted. Solving this puzzle will remove the water sphere barrier in the middle of the area.  Your goal is to adjust the pillars, starting from the main pillar so they connect and the last pillar can destroy the water sphere barrier in the middle. The starting position of the pillars can vary per player, but you can attack the main, glowing pillar to check if you have them properly aligned.

Getting the Pearl and Warding Stone

Once the sphere disappears, you will notice a purple stone or pearl floating in the middle of the area. This is the Pearl needed for the Ward. Fly towards it and pick it up. The Warding Stone is behind one of the enemies when you jump down. You can use your elemental sight to find the Warding Stone if you are having difficulty finding it.

Repairing the Ward

Go back to Narukami Pillar and submit the two items you just picked up. Submitting these two items will repair the pillar and clear up the thunderstorms in the area. Report back to Kaji to begin the next part of Orobashi’s Legacy questline. You will receive 40 Primogems, level-up materials, and 30,000 Mora.

Orobashi’s Legacy Part II: Serpent’s Head

After completing the second quest, you need to go to the Serpent’s Head to find the next Ward that can help improve the weather in the area. Go to the area marked on the map and you will find a similar Narukami Pillar from before. Observe it and you will notice that it is missing parts as well. Use your elemental Site to find the missing parts and it will lead you to an area with electro pillars just like before.

Solving the 2nd Sphere Puzzle

You can find the main pillar in the middle of the cliff. Just like before, this pillar is glowing and emits a faint light from the ball at its center. You will also find a water sphere barrier in the middle of the area. Once the water sphere breaks, go to the middle of the area to pick up the missing Pearl. You can also use the thunder sakura bough and summon the Electroganum if you are by the water.

Getting the Warding Stone

The Warding Stone is in a different location this time. Go back to the Narukami Pillar and use your elemental sight to find the missing part. It will lead you to a Thunder Sakura Bough and a hole on the floor. Summon the Electroganum here and jump down the hole. Go straight to the area protected by the Electro barrier to unlock it and start the mechanism beside it.

Electro Cube Puzzle

If you use your Elemental Sight, it will lead you further down the stairs. You will see that it leads you to a locked area on the floor. On the other end of the hallway, you will find enemies and an Electro puzzle hiding behind them. Defeat the enemies and hit the electro cubes until all cubes have the same amount of petals. This will unlock the floor gate and at the end of the hall, you can get the Warding Stone.

Fixing the 2nd Ward

Hit the Electro pillar next to the Warding stone and use the Thunder Sakura Bough to get out of the cave. Go back to the Ward and submit the two items to clear up thunderstorms in the area.

Orobashi’s Legacy Part III: Jakotsu Mine

Before you can get to the Narukami Pillar, you have to solve the Sphere Puzzle first. The area where the Ward is currently being protected by a water sphere barrier. The main pillar is at the top of the cliff, and you want to follow this sequence when adjusting the orientation and elevation of the pillars.

Getting the Pearl

Go to the Narukami Pillar and interact with it to start a dialogue. Use your elemental sight and follow it to find an Electro barrier and an Electro Mage. You need to defeat the Mage to activate the Thunder Sakura Bough tree beside the barrier. Summon the Electroganum to get past the barrier. The Pearl is floating in the air and if you have characters like Keqing, Zhongli, or Venti, you can use them to get the pearl easier. Otherwise, you can climb the cliff and glide down to get the pearl.

Getting the Warding Stone

Go back to the Narukami Pillar and use your elemental sight again to find the correct path for the Warding Stone. Climb up the cliff and glide down, following your Elemental Sight. There is a Thunder Sakura Bough here and you need to summon the Electroganum so it can take you towards the upper cliff. You will notice an Electro barrier here and another Thunder Sakura Bough. Summon the Electroganum to get past the barrier and pick up the Warding Stone.

Repair the Narukami Pillar

Go back to the Narukami Pillar and submit the two items to repair the Ward. Repairing this ward will give you a cutscene and stop the heavy rain in the area. You will also get 40 Primogems as a reward.

Orobashi’s Legacy Part IV: Fort Mumei

After repairing the Ward, report back to Kaji near Fort Mumei. After talking to Kaji, the ruins in Fort Mumei will show up, and you will find several electro pillars once again. Below is the proper sequence for this puzzle. You can adjust the pillars while underwater. However, you should always take note of your Stamina while swimming so you do not drown.

Getting the Warding Stone and Pearl

After the barrier is removed, you will see a Maguu Kenki boss in front of the Narukami Pillar. Defeat the enemy and interact with the Narukami Pillar. Use your elemental sight to find the missing Warding Stone. The stone is just left of the shrine and the Pearl is on top of the shrine. You can climb up the pillars and glide or use characters like Venti or Keqing to get the Pearl easily.

Rewards

After solving the puzzle, go ahead and talk to Kaji to complete the quest. He will give you the diagram to unlock the Kitain Cross Spear Polearm. You can get a total of 210 Primogems, 170,000 Mora, and 1550 Adventurer’s EXP for finishing the quest.

You can activate this effect every 10 seconds. Below are the materials you need to forge the polearm weapon:

1 Northlander Polearm Billet 50 Amethyst Lump 50 White Iron Chunk 500 Mora

How to unlock the Hamayumi Bow

To unlock the Hamayumi Bow, you will need some luck. Go to the Tatarasuna waypoint and head to the coastline as indicated on the map. Look for shining items on the coastline and pick them up. Once you pick up three Mysterious Conches, go to Takashi, which is standing on a hut nearby. Talk to him and he will let you open one of the three common chests behind him. One of these chests will contain the diagram for the bow. However, you cannot get the bow on the first try. You may need to try this for several days until you get the diagram. After submitting the Mysterious Conch to Takashi seven times, your chance of getting the bow will increase. However, it is still not guaranteed, so the only way is to keep trying until you get the diagram.

Stats

The Hamayumi Bow increases your normal attack damage by 16%. This weapon also increases your charged attack damage by 12%. When the character reaches 100 energy, the effect of the bow is increased to 100%. Below are the materials you need to forge this bow:
