The transcendent rapper has been at the top of the music industry for the better part of the past three decades. His albums are proven chart-toppers and he’s headlined several events as well as concerts before. Most recently, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem, headlined this year’s Superbowl halftime show. While Eminem is not a stranger to amassing crowds by the thousands, there’s one thing he hasn’t done that other artists have - hold a virtual Fortnite concert. Barely a month into the release of Curtain Call 2, it appears that Eminem is about to surprise everyone again. The Detroit rapper is currently in Fortnite in a tease of what’s to come. He’s not necessarily in the popular battle royale game (at least, not yet anyway) but he’s taken over the airwaves of a radio station, all but confirming his imminent arrival. Of course, we’re not ruling out a potential Eminem skin either. Epic Games has brought so many other popular artists into Fortnite that an Eminem skin wouldn’t surprise us. Case in point, artists such as Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak were on the Icon Radio Station before becoming available as playable skins in Fortnite in February. The same thing happened to the Fortnite YouTube creator, LazarBeam. If this is the case, then it’s only a matter of time before players can start rapping their way to a Victory Royale as Slim Shady in no time. One thing is for sure - a Fortnite collaboration with Eminem is coming. It’s not a matter of if but when. If we are getting an Eminem concert, Epic will likely hold it in late September or early October as a season-ending event.
