Star Citizen Reaches $349 Million Milestone

In other related news, Star Citizen recently reached the $349 million crowdfunding milestone. The total now sits at a whopping $349,069,352, making Star Citizen one of the most expensive games ever made - and it’s not even out yet. If you’re interested in trying out the game yourself, it’s available for download for the PC. However, do keep in mind that the content is a bit bare. At least, in terms of single-player. Most of the game is centered around PvP as of now. If it’s any consolation though, a single-player campaign is coming soon. The said campaign is titled Squadron 42 and has been in development for years. It was originally scheduled to release in 2014 and delayed numerous times. It currently has no defined release date. Star Citizen is being developed and published by Cloud Imperium Games for Microsoft Windows. The development of the game is being led by the creator of the Wing Commander series, Chris Roberts, who is also known for directing and/or producing many known Hollywood films such as 2005’s Lord of War starring Nicolas Cage.
