As spotted by the ever-vigilant leaker, Alumia_Italia, Diablo 4 is set to come out on June 5, 2023 and will clock in at 80GB. This is in line with earlier reports claiming that Diablo 4 will be out anytime between April and June. However, since this isn’t official information, we’ll just have to wait for Blizzard Entertainment to unveil the release date at The Game Awards on December 8.
— Aggiornamenti Lumia (@ALumia_Italia) December 7, 2022 Diablo 4 has been one of the most highly anticipated games of recent years. It was delayed to its current release date to give Blizzard more time to iron out kinks. Now that it’s set to launch sometime next year, we’re starting to get more info about the upcoming installment in the storied franchise. Most likely, Microsoft will confirm Diablo 4 as a Game Pass launch title even though Microsoft still isn’t the new owners of Activision Blizzard. So far, all the things we’ve heard about Diablo 4 are positive. The journalists and influencers who’ve had a chance to check out Diablo 4 ahead of everyone else are singing the game all the praises (or is it incantations?) albeit one of the most common criticisms is optimization, or the lack thereof. With at least half a year before Diablo 4 is out, Blizzard has a big window to make sure that Diablo 4 is as good as it can get at launch. With that said, we’ll just have to sit tight and keep ourselves occupied with these dungeon crawlers until Blizzard tells us anything official about Diablo 4. Speaking of Microsoft, the tech giant just confirmed that future first-party titles will carry a more expensive price tag. Also, after confirming its ten-year Call of Duty deal with Sony, it is extending the same offer to Nintendo and Steam.
