Now, we just found out that Ezra’s multiple run-ins with the law have cost the DCEU more than expected. According to Carolina Kwan, who appeared in Netflix’s Lucifer series, her friend was working on an eight-part series involving Miller’s Barry Allen before Warner Bros. axed it in light of Ezra’s current issues. Kwan did not say a lot about the canceled show, but she is blaming its cancelation on Miller. Here is what Kwan had to say in a now-deleted tweet: Technically, Kwan did not reveal if the show was going to be a part of the DCEU and just how involved Ezra Miller was supposed to be. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell that any project with the 29-year-old actor is, at the very least, connected to the DCEU and will end up on HBO Max. It’s unfortunate that Miller’s troubles have cost Warner Bros. and the DCEU so much already. We wouldn’t be surprised if Miller is the reason why The Flash isn’t premiering this year, as intended. In the meantime, DC fans can look forward to the cinematic universe’s upcoming comic book movies. First up is Black Adam on October 21, 2022, followed by Shazam! Fury of the Gods on December 21.
