In an official news wire post, Xbox revealed the new Games with Gold lineup. Like always, the Xbox Live Gold members will get exclusive access to the stated games for a limited time period.
Xbox Live Gold allows players to try out triple-A games for free and gives them a chance to purchase certain digital games from the Xbox store at a discount. Earlier this year, Xbox implemented major changes to their Xbox Games with Gold feature available to the Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Xbox announced that the Xbox Games with Gold would no longer feature games from the Xbox 360. Before the announcement, Microsoft always featured two Xbox 360 games and two Xbox One games for the Gold subscribers. However, this has since been changed to include only two Xbox One games, with the last Xbox 360 game appearing in September of 2022. That is enough about the Xbox Live Gold membership, which we’re sure many of you are already aware of. Let’s get into the exciting bit, that is, the new games that will be made available in October 2022. As mentioned before, the Xbox 360 games will no longer be featured in the Games with Gold catalog anymore. Therefore, the players will only get two new Xbox One games every month. The two new games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers are Windbound and Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition.
Windbound
Windbound, an indie open-world survival game, was initially released in August 2020 but received mixed reviews upon its first launch. In Windbound, players assume the control of a character named Kara on an uncharted island. Available: October 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022.
Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition
Bomb Crew is a world war two themed real-time strategic flying and bombing simulation game that leaves players with control of an air regiment tasked to defeat the enemy infantry. Available: October 16, 2022 to November 15, 2022.
