We ranked the Saints Row franchise among the best copycat games of all time. It knocked off the best-selling series by Rockstar Games before finding its own voice. For a time, the Saints Row games enjoyed a fair amount of success. Unfortunately, things got way too out of hand with 2015’s Gat out of Hell. This forced the studio to go back to the drawing boards and retool for the now-incoming reboot. The new Saints Row game will come out on August 23. But, make no mistake. Despite the change in scenery and characters, this is still Saints Row. In the meantime, you can keep yourself busy with the Saints Row Boss Factory. You can use the character customization tool to create custom characters ahead of Saints Row’s launch in late August. This way, all you have to do is to transfer your character from the demo to the final build. Judging from what we’ve seen so far, you’ll want to take this chance to build your character firsthand. The staggering amount of customization options will eat up a lot of your time.
